Financial Analyst
Location: Montreal, QC H3A 1Z4 (Hybrid/Onsite)
Job Type: W2 Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00/hour
Join a global financial institution as a Financial Analyst supporting business operations, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and resource management across key business units. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily financial operations for multiple business units.
- Lead budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial management activities.
- Review monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with leadership.
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Monitor financial KPIs and provide meaningful analysis.
- Manage invoice approvals, accruals, cost allocations, and expense tracking.
- Support annual budget preparation and monthly forecast updates.
- Coordinate resource management meetings and staffing plans.
- Analyze staffing utilization and identify optimization opportunities.
- Partner with HR regarding headcount planning, cost centers, and organizational reporting.
- Coordinate globally with international teams on resource management activities.
- Monitor operating expenses and provide financial reporting.
- Support project budgeting and cost tracking.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of Financial Analyst experience, preferably within financial services.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Financial reporting and KPI analysis experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services industry experience.
- Experience supporting international or matrix organizations.
- Power BI experience.
- Budget and forecast analysis experience.
- French language skills.
