.Position: Psychologist/Psychological Associate
Job Summary
Mahoe Health is seeking compassionate Registered Psychologists and Registered Psychological Associates to join our growing network of healthcare professionals providing comprehensive psychological assessment services across Ontario. In this role, you will provide expert psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for diverse populations, including children and individuals with special needs.
This opportunity offers the flexibility and autonomy of independent practice with the support of an established healthcare organization and integrated referral network.
The ideal candidate brings clinical expertise, a commitment to patient care, and experience in data collection and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for patients of all ages, with a focus on children and adolescents.
- Administer assessments measuring intellectual, academic, social, behavioral, and emotional/mental health functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling for emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
- Consult and collaborate with healthcare teams, schools, and families to support client care.
- Deliver primary, secondary, and tertiary intervention programs and techniques.
- Collect and analyze patient data to support research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in psychology through continuing education and research.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Practice in accordance with CPBAO standards and ethical guidelines
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records within our operating system that adhere to confidentiality requirements
- Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews and psychological evaluations
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological assessment tools
- Prepare detailed, evidence-based assessment reports
- Provide diagnostic impressions and recommendations
- Deliver client and family feedback sessions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners as appropriate
- Evidence of commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Education & Licensing
Required
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)
- Registration as either a:
- Registered Psychologist, or
- Registered Psychological Associate
- Authorized to provide psychological assessment services in Ontario
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical assessment and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
