This position involves operating heavy machinery and performing various labour tasks essential to our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in heavy equipment operation, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Applicants must be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Operate construction machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and grading tasks as needed.
- Assist with the assembly and installation of construction materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Operator or in a similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Proficient in operating various construction equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Heavy equipment operator, Common Core, DZ or AZ driver's license are assets.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
