Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of various landscapes, ensuring that gardens and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to maintain gardens and landscapes.
- Dig, plant, and build garden beds or other landscape features as required.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping projects, including trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- **Must have access to a vehicle (truck or van mandatory) which can transport equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, etc.
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
