- Providing top quality barber services, and supervising the staff and operations of the business
- Client consultations to analyze hair type, head shape, facial features and scalp condition to recommend best style and barber service
- Hair washing and blow-drying hair to desired style
- Recommending hair and beard care products best suited for client
- Performing hair cutting and styling with precision and detail using a wide variety of tools and techniques
- Cutting, lining up, shaving and styling facial hair using a variety of tools and techniques
- Following industry sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure clean and safe practices
- Reviewing appointment schedule to ensure that all bookings are correct
- Managing all payment transactions including tips tracking and end of day till balance
- Assisting the shop owner to promote, recruit, hire, and supervise the work of junior barbers
- Providing training and mentorship to junior barbers
- Maintaining strong client rapport
- Communicating with shop owner on an ongoing basis regarding daily operations and any issues that arise
