ServiceMaster Clean of Vancouver is currently hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Day Shift Cleaner for a commercial cleaning position located in Vancouver near Terminal Avenue.
This is a full-time, weekday position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can work independently in a professional environment.
Position Details
Location: Vancouver, BC - near Terminal Avenue
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

Responsibilities
- Perform routine janitorial duties in accordance with site requirements and company standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and common areas
- Empty garbage and recycling bins
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow site cleaning schedules and company procedures
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Load, unload, and monitor dishwashers in lunchrooms and kitchen areas
- Respond to client service requests in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and submit supply orders as required
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset, but not required
- Strong communication skills are required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work Monday to Friday
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Good attention to detail
- Professional attitude when working around clients, staff, and visitors
- Must be able to perform physical cleaning tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting light supplies during the shift
