We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager with a passion for leadership, exceptional customer service, and a deep knowledge of beverages to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of bar operations, manage day-to-day activities, curate and maintain an exceptional wine and beverage program, and collaborate with staff to deliver an outstanding guest experience. Your expertise in mixology and wine, coupled with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, will be essential in maintaining operational efficiency, driving profitability, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including staffing, inventory, and service standards.

Develop and maintain an innovative beverage program, including cocktails, craft beers, and spirits, in line with the restaurant’s concept.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Monitor bar inventory, manage ordering, and control beverage costs.

Hire, train, and mentor bar staff to maintain high levels of service and expertise.

Create staff schedules and manage labor costs while ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.

Handle guest concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.

Monitor and maintain stock levels for beverages, supplies, and equipment.
- Order and manage inventory, reducing waste and controlling costs.
- Conduct regular stock audits and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Ensure adherence to all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce policies regarding age verification and responsible alcohol service.

Curate and manage the wine list, ensuring an exceptional selection that complements the restaurant menu.

Provide wine education and training for staff to enhance their knowledge and upselling capabilities.

Offer personalized wine recommendations and pairings to guests, elevating their dining experience.

Monitor and manage wine inventory, including purchasing, storage, and proper handling.

Stay updated on wine trends and emerging producers to keep the program fresh and relevant.

Develop and manage budgets for the bar and wine program, ensuring revenue goals are met or exceeded.

Analyze sales data and customer preferences to optimize the beverage menu and maximize profitability.

Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to plan special events, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
What You'll Need:

Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role.

Hospitality Management designation preferred

Strong leadership and staff management skills.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.

Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and budgeting.

Familiarity with POS systems and bar operations.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
