Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting machined parts to ensure they meet customer specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect manufactured parts using hand-held measuring instruments.
- Use measuring tools including, but not limited to, OD micrometers, inside micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, height gauges, and indicators.
- Complete inspection records and documentation accurately.
- Identify and report non-conforming parts or quality concerns.
- Work closely with machinists, quality personnel, and supervisors to resolve inspection issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
- Follow company quality procedures and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience using hand-held measuring instruments is required.
- CMM experience is considered an asset; however, training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on additional inspection equipment and procedures.
Training:
We are willing to train the right candidate, including CMM operation and additional quality inspection procedures.
