We are a growing Alberta based oilfield company that provides quality services and products to our clients. We are looking for an Excavator Operator to join our team. You will also ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience Loading/Unloading trucks including; tubulars, cuttings, hotshots, pickup trucks.
- Remain in contact with consultant and rig crew to ensure you know when trucks are coming.
– Moving pipe, setting up racks, flare lines, moving pallets/barrels/totes, moving tubulars/tools and setting up in the correct order, when necessary.
- Keep the lease clean and organized, including organizing pallets, clearing snow/mud, moving and tidying various equipment around the lease.
- Drill Cuttings management; mix cuttings with sawdust or other stabilizer efficiently, plan ahead to ensure you have enough sawdust, work on a level surface, load cuttings into trucks, order cuttings trucks and sawdust.
- Plan your days efficiently and ahead of time.
- Assist with various tasks around the rig.
- Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to complete preventative machine maintenance.
-Experience running loader is considered an asset.
- A commitment to safety and environmental protection. A Valid CSO, First Aid and H2S
Work Location: various outdoor remote locations across BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan
