Job description:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with agricultural equipment and or heavy equipment and possess strong mechanical knowledge. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for mechanics and heavy machinery.
Duties Include:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair various types of heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Assemble and disassemble heavy equipment components
- Use hand tools to dig into equipment for repairs
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure proper functionality after repairs
Skills and/or Experience:
- 3 years (required) of previous experience as a mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting
- Red Seal as a Heavy Duty Technician
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery/farm equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the repair process
- Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment
- Familiarity with electrical systems in heavy equipment
- Experience working with hand tools specific to heavy machinery repairs
- Ability to dig into equipment for maintenance purpose
License/Certification:
- Red Seal - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (required)
- Class 5 Drivers License (required)
