Your Opportunity:
In Inventory/Stock Hand, you will help keep our operations supplied by shipping, receiving, and moving inventory. This is a physical role that will require you to lift heavy objects, drive vehicles, and work in a variety of conditions both inside and outdoors.

Responsibilities:

Assemble orders and deliver the inventory to the various retail outlets, kitchen facilities, and other departments

Pick-up and deliver material and supplies to and from various locations

Unpack received goods and ensure they are placed into appropriate storage areas

Rotate inventory items and monitor expiry dates of perishable items
-
Accurately complete and verify inventory transfer documentation
-
Verify inventory counts (stock-taking) as directed
-
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly working environment; prevent slipping and other hazards; always wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety boots, work gloves, and cold weather gear

Safely handle hazardous materials according to WorkSafeBC and industry standards

Safely operate pallet jack, cardboard recycling bailer, elevator, and related stockroom machinery and equipment

Safely operate Resort vehicles, including delivery truck, in variable weather conditions

Complete other duties as directed.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
-
Able to bend, kneel, walk distances, climb stairs, stand for long periods, and lift in excess of 23 kg/50 lbs

Able to work outdoors for extended periods in variable weather including cold and wet conditions

Grasp of basic computer skills: able to read and enter data, reply to emails, etc.

Hold a valid class 5 drivers license or equivalent with negligible infractions as identified on drivers abstract.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of food and beverage products and handling methods would be an asset.
