Flexible Part-Time Trailer & RV Service Technician

We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person to join our service department.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands but doesn't want the commitment of a full-time job. It would be an excellent fit for a retired mechanic, retired tradesperson, or anyone looking for flexible, part-time work.
Applicants must have previous experience in automotive, trailer, RV, agricultural, heavy equipment, marine, or similar mechanical work, or otherwise demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience.
Our workload is seasonal. Spring and summer are our busiest months, with lighter hours during the fall and winter. Because of that, we're looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys a schedule that changes with the season.
What You'll Do
- Repair and service utility, enclosed and recreational trailers
- Perform brake, bearing and suspension repairs
- Diagnose and repair trailer electrical and lighting systems
- Install hitches, jacks, couplers and trailer accessories
- Perform general RV repairs, including plumbing, electrical and appliance work
- Keep the shop clean, organized and safe
What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience in automotive, trailer, RV, agricultural, heavy equipment or similar mechanical work
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Reliable, honest and takes pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver's licence
Schedule
- Flexible part-time hours
- More hours available during the spring and summer busy season
- Reduced hours during the slower winter months
- Weekday hours (typically between 8:30-5:00pm)
