Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
- Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude toward maintaining a clean environment
