Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient care, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This is a critical role, and we are looking for someone with strong clinical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Review medication orders for appropriateness and potential drug interactions
- Provide medication counseling to patients and answer any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient response to medication therapy and adjust treatment as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current pharmacist license
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
