We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Server to join our team at a busy sushi-focused Japanese and Korean restaurant.
The ideal candidate has previous restaurant or customer service experience, preferably in a sushi, Japanese, or Korean cuisine setting. We are looking for someone who is professional, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional service
- Taking dine-in, takeout, and phone orders accurately
- Serving food and drinks and answering basic menu questions
- Helping with table setup, cleaning, and general front-of-house duties
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including standing, walking, and using stairs throughout the shift
Qualifications:
- Previous serving or restaurant experience is preferred
- Experience in a sushi, Japanese, or Korean cuisine restaurant is considered a strong asset
- Smart Serve certification is preferred, or must be willing to obtain it before starting
- Strong customer service skills and a reliable, punctual attitude
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work; access to a car is strongly preferred due to the restaurant’s location
Compensation:
- Hourly wage plus good earning potential with tips/gratuities
Schedule:
- Part-time and/or full-time hours available
- Day, evening, and weekend availability may be required
- Shifts to be discussed based on availability and restaurant needs
