Together, we're an amazing team. Every guest's first impression of a Beyondbnb property starts before they walk through the door. It starts with you.
As our Maintenance Inspector for the Fernie Division, you're the person who makes sure every property is spotless, fully functional, and genuinely welcoming before each new arrival. You'll be on the move across our Fernie portfolio — inspecting, fixing, restocking, and supporting the team — working across some of the most well-kept short-term rental properties in the Kootenays, in a town most people only get to visit.
This isn't a back-office role. You're out in the properties every day, taking real pride in the standard of what you leave behind. When a guest walks into a Beyondbnb property, the way it looks, feels, and functions is a direct reflection of your work.
What this role looks like day to day?
You'll be roaming across multiple Beyondbnb properties in Fernie, inspecting them after they've been cleaned and between guest stays. That means checking every room against our quality standard, coordinating with housekeeping and jumping in to help cleaners stay on track when needed, and making sure nothing gets missed before a guest arrives.
Beyond inspections, you'll handle the basic fixes that keep a property guest-ready — replacing batteries and light bulbs, repairing; toilets, tables, chairs, door hinges, shelves, and smart system connections, alongside restocking supplies across our portfolio. You'll also help keep company vehicles clean and stocked, and pitch in on light snow clearing when the mountains do their thing.
You'll use our systems to log inspections, communicate with the team, and keep turnovers running on time — especially during busy check-in periods.
No two days are identical. The portfolio spans a range of property types, and the pace picks up around peak seasons, weekends, and holidays. If you like variety, take pride in a job done properly, and want to feel like your work genuinely matters — this role is worth a look.
