Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in their instrumental proficiency and a genuine love for teaching. This role involves educating students in music theory, performance, and appreciation, while fostering a creative and supportive learning environment. The Music Teacher will work with students of all ages and nurturing their musical talents.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging music lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Educate students on various musical concepts, including rhythm, melody, harmony, and music history.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to enhance individual student skills and confidence in music.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes creativity, respect, and enthusiasm for music.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into broader educational programs.
- Maintain a well-organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Music Or higher Royal Conservatory grade (8 and up)
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential; prior tutoring experience is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that inspire students' interest in music.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability are crucial traits for success in this role.
