We're looking for a dependable Shop Helper / General Labourer to support our fabrication team producing architectural façade and cladding components. You'll help keep the shop running smoothly by preparing materials, moving parts between stations, assisting with packaging/shipping, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This is a great entry point for someone who wants steady work and the chance to learn fabrication skills.
Stage raw materials and parts for production (loading carts, organizing work areas)
Assist fabricators and machine operators with basic tasks (measuring, labeling, deburring/cleanup of parts)
Pack finished products safely for shipment (wrapping, strapping, labeling, palletizing)
Load/unload deliveries and help manage inventory areas
Maintain housekeeping and follow all safety procedures (PPE required)
Use basic hand tools and shop equipment safely (training provided)
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working on your feet and lifting 25-50 lbs
Able to follow instructions and work well with a team
Safety-first mindset (steel-toe boots required)
Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, construction, or manufacturing environment
Ability to read a tape measure / basic math
Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)
Familiarity with power tools (drill, grinder, etc.)
