Ram Mechanical Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Apprentice/ Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration Technician as well as Apprentice/ Journeyman Plumber Gasfitters to join our growing team in Edmonton, AB. As an HVAC Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for a variety of projects. You’ll work closely with our plumbing and mechanical teams to deliver high-standard solutions for our clients. As a Plumbing Technician, you will install, maintain and repair heating systems such as boilers, HWTs, install piping such as gas, water, sewer lines, maintain and service all aspects of plumbing service and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems and components.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Plumbing systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with plumbing and mechanical teams on integrated systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on job sites.
Qualifications
- Journeyman HVAC Technician certification Red Seal/ Journeyman Plumbing certification Red Seal
- Valid Apprenticeship in HVAC and/ or Plumbing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Plumbing/ HVAC installation and service.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems including plumbing integration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Gas ticket(s) an asset (Class A or B Gas Fitter), and any certifications that you currently possess.
