We are currently hiring a General Labourer to join our installation team.
Job Description:
The General Labourer position involves working outdoors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Arrival at the place of work (office or job-site) at 6:30am EST unless otherwise directed and at the sole discretion of the company.
- Arrival on-site and safe off-loading of all materials & tools.
- Perform alongside crewmates the concrete footing digging and setting, sport equipment assembly and court installation.
- Daily site clean-up to remove any job-site hazards for clients.
- All material loading.
Desired Experience:
- 1+ year of experience in construction or landscaping (an asset)
- 1+ year of outdoor work experience (an asset)
- Concrete experience (an asset)
- Machine operation experience (e.g., mini-skid steer) (an asset)
- Experience using power tools (preferred)
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Commitment to workplace safety and efficiency
Typical Workday:
- The workday begins at 6:30 AM and typically ends around 5:00 PM, subject to site requirements / conditions
- Ocassional out-of-town work (Monday–Friday) is required; all accommodations and travel costs are covered by the employer
- A meal allowance/per diem is provided (details below)
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Completion and acknowledgment of all company policies
Additional Information
- The General Labourer must be comfortable and available for travel, including overnight stays across Ontario
- Travel time is paid, and a per diem of $50 per day is provided (e.g., 10 days out of town = $500 added to your pay check
- All accommodation and travel costs are covered by the employer
