Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good condition
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to maintain a tidy workspace
- Adhere to all safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination
Skills
- Experience in cleaning or dishwashing within a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food service procedures
