Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess health history, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with licensing and regulatory standards.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment by adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to maintain license.
Requirements
- Valid license as a Registered Massage Therapist in Alberta Canada in accordance with provincial regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a relaxing and trusting environment for clients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and address client concerns.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
