Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will monitor property, prevent loss, and uphold safety protocols through attentive surveillance and proactive security measures. Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas regularly to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct thorough inspections of the premises, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies according to established procedures
- Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts
- Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when necessary
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required to handle security incidents
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining security standards
Skills
- Prior experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring systems
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas and respond quickly when needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies
