Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Grocery Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of grocery store functions. Duties
- Comfortable using band saw for cut fish into steaks and fillets and poultry into parts.
- Comfortable recording and appearing in videos for social media platforms
- Supervise and coordinate all store activities, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales strategies
- Lead and motivate a team through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Oversee purchasing, pricing, and inventory replenishment to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and record-keeping
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and increase foot traffic
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct hiring interviews and participate in recruiting efforts for store staff
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting
- Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to meet sales targets
- Must be able to perform light physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail or grocery settings
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, and pricing strategies
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management
- Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated skills in sales management, marketing, and store operations
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in purchasing and vendor relations

Pay: From $16.75 per hour
