Summary
The Service Advisor is responsible for guiding Canso Ford’s guests through the maintenance and repair process of their vehicles while creating a great first impression.
Canso Ford is seeking a Service Advisor for a 17-month term position)
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Scheduling guests’ appointments for vehicle maintenance and repair.
Ensure you are writing detailed accurate appointments in the DMS
Checking guests vehicle history and Oasis report for all applicable recalls and maintenance requirements are being met
Checking guests in and doing an active walk around checked in vehicles
Keeping customers informed on status of repairs/service and address customer questions, needs, and concerns.
Ensuring customer vehicles are returned to the customer clean and with all items identified for service/repair carried out appropriately and on time.
Following up with guests to ensure complete satisfaction with their visit to our store, and that their repairs have fixed their concern
Continually confirming accuracy and relevance of all department forms, menus, and pricing guides.
Consistently improving delivery of service for excellent customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Knowledge of automotive parts and mechanical repairs is considered an asset.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask.
Organized and an attention to detail with the ability to document customer needs.
College certificate or additional post-secondary courses considered an asset.
Valid driver’s license.
