Summary
We are seeking skilled Truck Drivers to join our team at Artistic Landscape Designs Ltd in Ottawa. In this role, you will play a vital part in transporting interlock and bulk materials to various locations within the Ottawa region.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks to transport interlock, plants and bulk hardscape materials safely to designated locations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes.
- Assist in loading and unloading freight as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Qualifications
- Candidate should have a Minimum 3 years experience
- Valid commercial driver's license with clean drivers abstract
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to trucking operations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
