Commercial Landscape Foreman

We are seeking a self-motivated, goal-oriented Commercial Landscape Foreman to lead and supervise commercial landscape construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape installations, including hardscape construction, grading, planting, site development, and project execution. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, leading crews effectively, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to Thunderbolt's high standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to company quality standards.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to effectively plan and execute work.
- Coordinate daily work activities with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and clients.
- Plan and assign daily tasks, ensuring labour, equipment, and materials are utilized efficiently.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, communicating solutions proactively to management.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, applicable building codes, and company quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, safety compliance, and project readiness for inspections.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate crew members while fostering a positive, productive, and respectful work environment.
- Actively participate in the training and development of crew members, providing coaching and performance feedback as required.
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and deliveries to minimize downtime and maintain project productivity.
- Complete and submit all required documentation, including daily reports, labour and equipment time records, work orders, safety documentation, and inspection reports.
- Maintain accurate records of on-site activities, production, deficiencies, incidents, and project progress.
- Communicate employee relations concerns, equipment issues, customer concerns, project risks, and recommended solutions to management in a timely manner.
- Maintain a trusting, inclusive, and professional work environment that reflects the Company's values and expectations.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures prescribed by the Company, applicable legislation, and WHMIS requirements while ensuring crew compliance.

Requirements:
- A comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations for our profession.
- At least 5 years of experience in foreman role.
- Experience operating small equipment an asset.
- A valid G license to operate company vehicles.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
