Fisherman’s Market is looking for a reliable, customer‑focused AGM/Seafood Shop Keyholder to support daily operations at our Metro Vancouver locations. With seven shops across the province, we’re known for high‑quality seafood, strong community relationships, and a team that genuinely loves what we do.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands‑on retail environment, takes pride in both exceptional service and quality products. Ideal candidates can work at both our Burnaby and West Vancouver locations as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Open and/or close the shop, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Support staff on shift and help maintain a positive, efficient work environment
- Deliver outstanding customer service with strong product knowledge
- Assist with, merchandising, and maintaining store standards
- Handle cash, point‑of‑sale duties, and end‑of‑day procedures
- Engage with customers and promote sales through friendly, informed interactions
What You Bring
- A passion for great food, great service, and great people
- Experience in retail, food service, or customer‑facing roles
- Seafood knowledge or fish cutting skills are an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Reliability, accountability, and comfort working independently when needed
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work at both Metro Vancouver locations
