K&K Trailer Sales, an authorized Berg Trailers dealer, is looking for a journeyman mechanic with a current Alberta CVIP license to run inspections and repairs on our sales inventory, rental fleet, and customer units at our Rimbey shop.
What the job is
- Conduct CVIP inspections on grain, tridem, and Super B trailers
- Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, electrical, and structural issues on trailers only.
- Run your own workload independently — you'll report directly to the owner for what's next in the queue, and manage your own parts ordering
- Work alongside our existing refurb team, who run their own separate queue
What you need
- Journeyman ticket — Transport Trailer Mechanic or Truck & Transport
- Current Alberta CVIP inspection license
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Physically able to handle heavy trailer work — tires, slope sheets, structural repair

This is a no-nonsense shop. We move fast, we expect competence, and we don't have time to babysit. If you're a confident tradesman who just wants to be handed a job list and left alone to do good work, you'll fit in fine. If you need a lot of hand-holding, this isn't the spot.
What we offer
- $36–$48/hr based on ticket status and experience — we'll go higher for the right guy

Pay: $36.00-$48.00 per hour
