Role Objectives
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food to assigned locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, well-functioning delivery vehicle at all times
- Serve as a professional and friendly representative of the company in all customer interactions
- Develop strong knowledge of the local area to consistently choose the most efficient routes
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to perform scheduled pickups and deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading food and supplies as needed
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete necessary documentation
- Utilize GPS and navigation tools to determine and follow the best delivery routes
- Participate in regular vehicle maintenance checks and coordinate repairs when required
- Keep vehicles fueled and ready for use at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least one year
- Ability to remain focused and drive for extended periods
- Strong awareness of and commitment to safety procedures
- Confident in using GPS and navigation apps
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and well-groomed appearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (Class G or higher)
- Previous experience in a professional driving or delivery role
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with local streets, traffic patterns, and shortcuts
