My Tasks
- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements
- Develop material takeoffs, labour estimates, and pricing for bids and proposals
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and availability of materials
- Support bid preparation, submission, and project handoff to operations teams
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure estimates align with execution plans
- Maintain organized records of estimates, quotes, and project data
- Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and efficiencies during the estimating process
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tracking project costs
What I Bring
- 5+ years of experience in estimating within mechanical contracting, construction, or a related field
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating or project management software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
