Club Pilates offers group reformer Pilates classes in various formats and levels to accommodate everyone seeking to learn Pilates and hone their fitness expertise. Club Pilates is a well-established, global brand committed to providing affordable and accessible Pilates to the community. Class formats cater to a wide range of clients’ needs, from young to more senior and from beginner to advanced.
Club Pilates South Oakville is part of a locally owned and operated franchise group whose goal is to help improve the community's physical and mental health through Pilates.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of sales and operaionals functionality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven track record in sales management. This role requires strategic planning, team management, customer service excellence, and operational oversight to ensure the studio's success and growth. The General Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Experience in marketing is considered a valuable asset. This position offers an opportunity to lead a vibrant team in a fast-paced retail environment dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
- Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales
- Ability to manage and drive 4 revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, via text messages and via email.
- Ability to utilize Excel and Google Sheets in a fast-changing, diverse environment.
- Ability to recognise areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement.
- An affinity and passion for fitness.
- Solid writing and grammar skills.
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public and bring a positive energy to the studio environment.
- Proficiency with computers and Studio software.
DUTIES
- Lead generation, including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
- Implement sales process to schedule prospects into trial class
- Oversee all Membership sales
- Manage & supervise sales representatives, including managing the sales staff schedule
- Proficiency in ClubReady, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc
- Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service
- Collect outstanding dues
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Pilates Studio
- Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures
- Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible
- Schedule and participate in networking/community events, and studio member events, and promotions
- Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
- Any other duties as assigned

Pay: $52,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
