We are currently looking to add a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Administrator to our team. This role is key to ensuring smooth payroll processing and benefits administration, utilizing ADP Workforce Now.
Job Overview:
The Payroll and Benefits Administrator will be responsible for administering payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and managing employee benefit inquiries. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ADP Workforce Now to handle payroll, benefits data, and compliance issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- New employee onboarding.
- Administer all aspects of payroll processing using Workforce Now software, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, share purchase plans, and other company benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all local and federal payroll and benefits regulations.
- Review and update employee information in the ADP Workforce Now system.
- Generate payroll reports, process adjustments, and manage wage garnishments as needed.
- Record payroll results and benefit costs into financial records.
- Handle benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in coordination with employees and benefits providers.
- Respond to employee payroll and benefits inquiries, providing assistance and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain required compliance documentation, including reporting and recordkeeping for audits.
- Assist with year-end processes including annual remittances and benefit plan reconciliations.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation required.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now software for payroll and benefits processing.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, tax laws, and employee benefits compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with employees and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Experience with other HRIS systems is a plus.
