Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook a variety of menu items with precision, speed, and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food handling stations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food served is fresh, properly cooked, and presented attractively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude under pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic serving experience is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
