Baker
We're an award-winning organic craft bakery with a +10 year track record of excellence seeking a talented Baker to join our team! We're unique in that we source ALL our grain from local organic farms. We stone mill ALL our ancient and heritage grains into fresh flour. And then we bake delicious time-honored European inspired recipes using only the very best organic ingredients (ie butter, chocolate, sugar, spices, seeds, etc). Primary responsibility is consistently producing the highest quality breads and pastries by hand from scratch in a timely manner at the proper yield.
Other responsibilities include: Lead daily production, manage recipes & costs, control process variations, troubleshoot quality issues, follow strict food safety and cleaning protocols, maintain bakery equipment, order ingredients, other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude who is available to work 7 - 8 hour shifts 5 days per week starting at 4am. Work days more than likely Tues to Sat, but may shift depending on the needs of the business. Must be able to routinely lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, push, pull, squat, bend and reach during a long shift. Must be tolerant to heat and flour dust.
Remuneration based on skill level & experience. Hourly wage + participation in shared tip pool + lunch snacks + company grocery program + 5 paid sick days per year.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
