Summary
We are seeking a passionate Cake Decorator to join our team at DQ Grill & Chill in Fergus. In this role, you will craft beautiful and delicious ice cream cakes that delight our customers and contribute to our reputation for quality and creativity. This position is vital in helping us deliver memorable dessert experiences aligned with our company's values of fun and excellence.
Responsibilities
Decorate and assemble a variety of ice cream cakes with precision and creativity.
- Ensure all cakes meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cake decorating area.
- Follow food safety guidelines during all stages of food handling.
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests about their dessert choices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Manage inventory of decorating supplies and ingredients.
- Qualifications
Proven experience in cake decorating or pastry arts.
- Strong skills in food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and artistic ability.
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of baking techniques is highly desirable.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
