Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, and control systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete wiring tasks with precision and safety.
- Work on renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical systems in accordance with current codes.
- Install and maintain low voltage systems such as security alarms, data cabling, or communication networks.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes in industrial environments.
- Conduct inspections to ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and building regulations while documenting work progress thoroughly.
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license or certification recognized by local authorities.
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial applications preferred.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
- Hands-on experience with construction projects and renovation work.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Additional handyman experience or general construction skills are a plus.
