We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Groom pets according to breed standards and customer preferences, including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming station to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Handle pets gently and safely throughout the grooming process, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to accommodate client requests and maintain workflow
- Assist with maintaining grooming supplies and equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting tools after each use
- Ensure the safety of pets during grooming procedures, adhering to all safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier animals
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and gentle handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
