IKEA Halifax is looking for a part time Fulfilment Operations Team Leader (Night shift)
Who you are
- University degree and 2 years of related experience, or minimum 5 years of related experience
- Minimum 1 year of managerial experience
Your responsibilities
- Lead the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers in the assigned area of responsibility to secure the highest goods availability, operational readiness at all times at the lowest possible cost.
- Take direct lead with identifying, recruiting, retaining and developing the many talents in the Fulfilment Operations team, to secure a diverse, high performing team that can execute its assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure the future succession.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment throughout the unit and secure that the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers work in compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security and the environment.
- Secure effective, qualitative and efficient daily fulfilment operations within the assigned area of responsibility by contributing to goal setting, people, shift and equipment planning, create co-workers' quality awareness to prevent and reduce damages, drive the implementation of local business plans/projects and analyse existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet seasonal needs.
- Support the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.

Pay: $58,960.00-$64,000.00 per year

- Our Halifax store is located at 645 Cutler Ave, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, B3B 0M2. Will you be able to get to that location reliably when you need to work there? Please inquire about your bus/transportation route before responding.
- This is a full-time 40-hour per week night shift position. The schedule starts at 1:00 AM and ends at 9:30 AM. It is also required to work one weekend out of two. We are looking for someone with good schedule flexibility, as there may occasionally be changes to the schedule. Are you comfortable with all of this?
- Do you have more than 2 years of experience in team management?
- Do you have experience working in a warehouse?
- This is a job that can be physically demanding. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and walk between 10K steps per day. Are you comfortable with that?
