Job Overview
This position is responsible for the ongoing technical service and support work in the areas of 2 Way Radio Installation, Programming and Equipment Repairs
Duties
- Have entry level experience in working with 2 Way Radio products and services, with willingness to grow knowledge in the industry
- Work alongside the Service Technicians in the areas of 2 Way radio repair, installations and programming
- Provide direct service to customers relative to their communication needs
- Work with Sundance Radio Sales staff to provide the best purchase options for customers
- Provide training and guidance to clients in all aspects of the use of their 2Way radio and POC equipment
- Support with the management and distribution of the product lines consisting of loaner rental units
- Proactively meet with clients for service calls both at Sundance service shop and client’s place of business
- Support service team in administrative duties related to all department requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working in the 2Way radio technical field
- Experience with installation of car starters and other related areas
- Ability to work for and alongside people in a fast paced, service-oriented environment
- Ability to manage, set priorities and multi-task
- Must have computer skills required to perform job
- Strong aptitude for information technology
- Willingness to learn and grow with company
- Must have a driver’s license with a good driving record and be familiar with Calgary
- Have a strong command of the English language
