We are seeking a dedicated and organized Food Program Coordinator to oversee and manage our community nutrition initiatives. Duties
- Develop, implement, and evaluate food program activities to meet community needs
- Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Coordinate food procurement, storage, and distribution processes
- Supervise staff and volunteers involved in program activities, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with local organizations, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance program reach and effectiveness
- Conduct outreach and educational activities to promote healthy recipes within the community
- Monitor program performance metrics and prepare reports for stakeholders and funders
- Ensure all activities adhere to health regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies
Experience
- Prior administrative experience in a community or social service setting is preferred
- Proven experience in budgeting and financial management for programs or projects
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
