We are seeking a motivated enthusiastic incumbent to join our team as a :
BUILDING ATTENDANT
Duties
- Clean barn stalls
- Snow clearing and salting of parking lots and walkways
- Operate a pressure washer, power trimmer, tractors, snow blowers and lawn mowers
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, material handling equipment while performing duties
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School or GED, Post-secondary Certificate/Training in a related field would be an asset
- Valid Driver’s License with a drivers abstract is required and experience with tractors
- AGCO eligible license
- 3-5 years related work experience or farm work
- Self-starter and able to work independently
Work Conditions
- Physical ability to lift on occasion up to 50 - 60 lbs.
- Safety equipment required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection etc.
- Work both indoors and outdoors
- Exposure to noise, heat and animal odours
- Occasional Weekend hours
