We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Family Physician Clinic in Kitchener. This is an excellent opportunity to provide patient-centred primary care within a collaborative and supportive practice environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatments within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.
- Provide preventative care, health promotion, and patient education.
- Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner (Extended Class) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Primary care/family practice experience is an asset.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Experience using electronic medical records is preferred.
