One of our clients is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee multiple residential
renovation and retrofit projects. This role is responsible for managing daily site operations,
coordinating trades, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and delivering
projects on schedule.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader with experience managing complex renovation
projects in fast-paced, milestone-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Management & Coordination
Lead and coordinate all trades to ensure work is completed according to drawings,
specifications, and project requirements
Maintain a daily on-site presence and oversee all construction activities
Manage project schedules and critical construction milestones
Coordinate demolition, structural modifications, hazardous material abatement, and
mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations
Ensure timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required
Health & Safety
Enforce all health and safety requirements and company policies
Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks
Ensure compliance with asbestos removal, lead paint handling, hot work procedures, fire
safety, and environmental requirements
Maintain safe access routes and working conditions for all personnel
Quality Control
Implement quality control procedures throughout the project
Conduct inspections at key stages of construction
Ensure all work meets project specifications and applicable standards
Identify and resolve deficiencies in a timely manner
Scheduling & Reporting
Maintain and update project schedules
Develop recovery plans when projects fall behind schedule
Coordinate inspections and project milestones
Prepare daily reports and progress updates
Documentation & Administration
Maintain project drawings, specifications, permits, schedules, safety documentation, and
inspection records
Keep accurate daily logs and site documentation
Ensure all records are organized and available for review
Communication & Leadership
Act as the primary on-site contact for project stakeholders
Coordinate subcontractors and resolve site issues efficiently
Communicate project progress, risks, and schedule impacts
Foster a productive and professional work environment
Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour
