These positions support facilities and grounds operations at multiple locations across the division. Depending on the assigned tasks, employees may work both indoors and outdoors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks at multiple locations, including:

Grounds maintenance, including landscaping and cleanup
-
Safely operating power tools and light grounds maintenance equipment
-
Minor building maintenance
-
Moving school and office furniture and equipment

Perform physically demanding tasks on every shift that include, but are not limited to: climbing and balancing; stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching; lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing; and prolonged sitting and standing

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, as well as the ability to operate ground maintenance equipment and power tools, would be considered an asset but is not required

Valid class 5 driver’s license
