LOCKER ROOM ATTENDANT

REPORTS TO:
Head Golf Professional & General Manager
GENERAL DUTIES AND DESCRIPTION:
Reporting directly to the Head Golf Professional & General Manager, you will lead the Locker Room team in the upkeeping of the Men’s & Ladies’ Locker Rooms and perform various other housekeeping duties.
You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service and for the timely provision of supplies and toiletries to our members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Ensuring that day to day tasks are being completed
Interaction with Membership and guests. Greeting and providing direction when needed
Maintenance of the washrooms, on course washroom facilities, showers, corridors and entrance ways.
Providing daily upkeep to the on course water coolers and ensuring that they are fully stocked.
Shoe cleaning and spike replacement
Inspect locker area to ensure proper appearance, maintenance, cleanliness and safety
Enforces established rules, regulations and policies
Dusting, glass and mirror cleaning, and disposal of garbage
Opening of the clubhouse building and following standard opening procedures
Regular maintenance to the water softener salt levels
Laundry services for the Kitchen, Golf Operations and Locker Rooms.
Vacuuming of the Men’s Locker Room areas and various areas
Complete all other appropriate assignments made by the Head Golf Professional or
General Manager
LOCKER ROOM SUPERVISOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to work flexible shifts (mornings/days/evening/weekends/holidays)
Must have an engaging, outgoing, and positive personality and attitude.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and tasks concurrently
Able to work safely, efficiently and in a courteous manner
Physically able to be on your feet for a shift
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Previous Golf Club or Resort experience is an asset
The ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. team members will be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers and the safety and procedural manuals for the equipment and the team members are generally in English).
WAGE DETAILS AND PRIVILEGES :
The Club will offer an attractive compensation package, commensurate with experience, which will include a competitive hourly wage, year end performance bonus, Complimentary golfing privileges (subject to employee restrictions) and staff uniforms provided.
