Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager based in Vancouver to lead the marketing for high-rise residential developments in Vancouver and U.S. cities. The ideal candidate brings extensive knowledge of real estate development, strong project management skills, and proven experience successfully marketing landmark high-rise developments.
Duties
- Develop and execute development strategies for projects from pre-launch through sell-out.
- Lead residential, commercial, mixed-use, and hotel development projects from land acquisition through planning, approvals, construction, and project completion.
- Negotiate and administer land purchase agreements, contracts, and development-related legal documentation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of residential and commercial leasing strategies, market positioning, and tenant acquisition.
- Manage all aspects of land planning, including due diligence, rezoning, subdivision applications, development permits, and municipal approvals.
- Coordinate and manage external consultants, including architects, planners, engineers, surveyors, environmental consultants, and legal advisors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, financial feasibility analysis, and development timelines.
- Review and provide guidance on marketing strategies, presentation centers, sales collateral, and project launch plans.
- Identify project risks and implement strategies to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor real estate market conditions, land values, competitor development, and planning policies to identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- 10+ years with proven success managing residential or mixed-use portfolios with an established and reputable local property management or real estate organization required.
- Strong understanding of the Vancouver, Washington, and California real estate markets and buyer landscape.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Pay: From $125,000.00 per year
