Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the beauty and functionality of residential or commercial landscapes. Experience in landscaping is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators to assist with land clearing and grading projects
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
- Perform gardening tasks including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, edging, weeding, and leaf removal
- Use hand tools and power tools for trimming, digging, and other landscaping tasks
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape design, including building retaining walls or pathways
- Maintain equipment through routine mechanical checks and minor repairs
- Ensure all work areas are safe, clean, and organized throughout the project lifecycle
Skills
- Experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery preferred but not necessary
- knowledge of irrigation systems and their installation/repair
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and best practices
- Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes effectively
- Skilled in operating power tools including trimmers, blowers, and saws
- Understanding of construction principles related to outdoor projects
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor environments who possess a combination of technical skills and hands-on experience in landscape-related fields.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
