We are fleet service shop seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician specializing in 310s to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and most importantantly, a positive attitude. Responsibilities
- Monday - Friday 40hour work week, no weekends
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs and maintenance on light duty fleet vehicles
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs effectively.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, identify problems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Complete repairs involving engine systems, brakes, suspension, transmission, and other critical components.
- Maintain a clean and well organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs and timelines clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as licensed Automotive Service Technician 310s or Level 3 apprentice
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling.
- Experience with fleet maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
