Position Title: Inside Sales Representative
Location: Calgary, AB, T2B 3M1
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Position Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager or designate, the Inside Sales Representative will manage house accounts, supporting sales efforts and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales for street and retail representatives.
- Provide holiday relief for sales representatives.
- Manage house and C.O.D. customer accounts as needed.
- Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential customers, and follow up on leads.
- Understand customers' needs and identify sales opportunities.
- Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information via email.
- Keep up with product and service information and updates.
- Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
- Explain and demonstrate features of products and services.
- Stay informed about competing products and services.
- Upsell products and services.
- Research and qualify new leads.
- Close sales and achieve sales targets.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 to 2 years of progressive sales experience in a similar-sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.
- 1 to 3 years of related industry experience required.
- Effective communication skills with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
- Comfortable working on computers.
- Self-motivated and able to work both in and outside of an office setting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of online sales platforms is considered an asset.

- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Familiarity with e-commerce tools and analytics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
